TECHNICAL SHEET
Plasterboard, gypsum in the middle, double-sided coated cardboard, mass-produced smooth-surfaced boards, in standard or special formats and in certain standards. Drywall can be used in all areas, from floor to wall, inside buildings with finished exterior walls. Suspended ceilings, partitions, dry plaster and dry flooring applications are made with plasterboard.

Gypsum suspended ceiling is the common name given to the system which provides mounting space for mechanical and electrical productions under the existing reinforced concrete, steel or timber ceiling framework. This system, which is created by hanging horizontal profiles on metal bars suspended from the existing ceiling, ends with drywall or decorative panels.

Thus, significant space savings are achieved in the places where the [suspended ceilings] are installed. Normal plasterboards, green plasterboards resistant to water and humidity and red resistant plasterboards fire can be applied.
Characteristics of the plaster:

Non-flammability, Thermal insulation_ Lightness Ease of treatment and repair_ Surface breathing_ Does not produce bacteria

Moisture Control Characteristic of Plaster:

When water vapor in an enclosed volume comes into contact with the surfaces of the exterior building elements surrounding the volume, it cools and condenses and causes wetting of the building elements and therefore water spots and efflorescences on the surface of the element. On the other hand, due to its low thermal conductivity, it not only retards condensation, but also absorbs a significant amount of ambient humidity and condensation water in its spaces and reduces condensation by reducing binding humidity. in the interior volume.

In addition, when the n decreases, the gypsum gives the humidity of its own structure to the environment, ensuring that the environment remains sufficiently humid and thus contributes to the improvement of living conditions in houses with central heating.

Thermal conductivity of gypsum:

It is known that plasterboard is a hot contact material since it is used in buildings. Today, when the thermal conductivity values are determined, it is found that the thermal conductivity value of gypsum is very close to wood among natural materials and conducts heat less than other natural materials. The unit density depends on the gypsum/water ratio added to the paste.

As the gypsum content in gypsum paste increases and the water content decreases, the unit weight of gypsum increases. In TS 825, which defines the rules for thermal insulation in buildings, the value of thermal conductivity given according to the unit weight of gypsum pastes varies between 029-053 VWrnK values per unit weight, depending on the formation of porosity and condensation of gypsum pastes.
